low fluid level-3
induction-cytotec to ripen cervix (no progress)
Sat.
cervidil- placed because cytotec didn't help
AC had a decel in his hr
Sun
remove cervidil
dr broke water in the morning, very little fluid came out (bloody tinged)
transfered to delivery room
start pitocin drip
AC had another decel in hr when I went to sit in the rocking chair, hr normal when layed down
9-11pm increase in contractions, very strong
11-12am epidural
Mon
2:30/3 very stong contractions, cervix 10, start to push
AC hr decels 3/4 times
doc asked vacuum or c-section (had no idea what we were in for, trusted doc)
Chose vacuum- no time, AC hr deceled 30bpm---emergency c-section
OR not set up, none of nurses knew how, Dr. had to run and set up
I was sedated
29min to get AC out from time cs was called/ my bladder was cut during
AC born 4:46am, not breathing, very low hr
drs performed cpr on him until major affiliated hospital could get there and make the final call that there was nothing else they could do
AC Safe in the Arms of Jesus @ 7:14am
I started waking up around 7:30am, asked for my baby, no one would answer me
My husband came in 10-15 min later to tell me AC was with Jesus
Saw/held him with husband and named him
Family came in
Taken to ICU , given 2 pints of blood
AC taken away, in shock..disbelief...numb..,no suggestions to keep him in room, huge regret

Moved to another room
Printed AC feet and hands, Got hair clippings (so glad husband thought of it)
AC picked up by funeral home

Released from hospital
